Chateau Maris, a Biodynamic Minervois winery, kicks off sales in the state of Connecticut March 1st with New England Wine and Spirits as their distributor.

Steve Seltzer, CEO of Convivium Brands, is working with the Fine Wine account managers from New England Wines and Spirits to get maximum account visits and distribution during the inital 3 months of the kickoff.accounts and personnel," said Steve Seltzer.  "I have worked the market with 3 account managers so far last week, visiting restaurants and stores in Stamford, Greenwich, Danbury, New Milford, New Preston and other cities and towns.  The response was fantastic, with many stores and restaurants buying on the spot."

Chateau Maris is a partnership between Robert Eden, Jacques Herviou and Kevin Parker, a British ex-patriot, a French wine marketer living in Brooklyn and a fund manager that only invests in sustainable and "green" companies and technologies.

The wines are rich and full-flavored, made with minimal intervention.  Basket pressed, unfined, unfiltered and lightly racked, all vineyard and winemaking is done by the Biodynamic calendar.  Syrah, Grenache and Carignan blends and single-vineyard, single-varietal bottlings make up the Chateau Maris brand offerings.
